Festival de Mascaradas y Cosplay Kamen, short name Festival Kamen, is a Costa Rica anime convention held in San Jos?, Costa Rica and organized by the heavily-profiting ImperioAnime.com. The convention is traditionally held on the July at the end of mid-year student vacations and lasts for two days. While currently hosted at the Antigua Aduana, in the past Festival Kamen has been held in other venues such as CENAC, and Villa Ol?mpica in Desamparados, San Jos?. Festival Kamen is notable as the largest Cosplay convention in Costa Rica due the prizes for the all the cosplay contests include trips to the biggest Anime Conventions in Latinoamerica and USA and is also known for hosting guests from around the world.
